Cover crops and self-produced composting have become fundamental tools for preserving the fertility of our soils<\/p><\/div><\/div><\/div><div class=\"item \"><div class=\"a-img\"><div style=\"background-image: url(https:\/\/www.mongarda.it\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/12\/mongarda-vino-vite-1.jpg);\"><\/div><\/div><div class=\"h\"><div class=\"num\">03<\/div><span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.mongarda.it\/en\/project\/vine-1\/\">Vine<\/a><\/span><\/div><div class=\"button\">+<\/div><div class=\"p-content\"><div class=\"close\"><\/div><div class=\"w\"><p>Sparse or compact bunches, size of the berry and thickness of the peel help to distinguish the different varieties grown together among the rows of vineyards. The taste of each grape is very different and vinified together complete the character of the wine.<\/p><\/div><\/div><\/div><div class=\"item \"><div class=\"a-img\"><div style=\"background-image: url(https:\/\/www.mongarda.it\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/12\/Mongarda-Viti-antiche-015.jpg);\"><\/div><\/div><div class=\"h\"><div class=\"num\">04<\/div><span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.mongarda.it\/en\/project\/vine-2\/\">Vine<\/a><\/span><\/div><div class=\"button\">+<\/div><div class=\"p-content\"><div class=\"close\"><\/div><div class=\"w\"><p>A thin layer of soil forces the plant to grow its roots in the calcareous rock present in the subsoil. The wines obtained from the grapes of old vines are characterized by a greater sapidity and longevity.<\/p><\/div><\/div><\/div><div class=\"item \"><div class=\"a-img\"><div style=\"background-image: url(https:\/\/www.mongarda.it\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/12\/Mongarda-territorio-008.jpg);\"><\/div><\/div><div class=\"h\"><div class=\"num\">05<\/div><span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.mongarda.it\/en\/project\/climate-1\/\">Climate<\/a><\/span><\/div><div class=\"button\">+<\/div><div class=\"p-content\"><div class=\"close\"><\/div><div class=\"w\"><p>The hillsides have been entirely shaped by the glacier of the Piave river. Thanks to this we have a wide variety of soils. Today, the watercourse increases the ventilation of the valley and improves the microclimate of the vines.<\/p><\/div><\/div><\/div><div class=\"item \"><div class=\"a-img\"><div style=\"background-image: url(https:\/\/www.mongarda.it\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/12\/Mongarda-territorio-010.jpg);\"><\/div><\/div><div class=\"h\"><div class=\"num\">06<\/div><span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.mongarda.it\/en\/project\/climate-2\/\">Climate<\/a><\/span><\/div><div class=\"button\">+<\/div><div class=\"p-content\"><div class=\"close\"><\/div><div class=\"w\"><p>Mount Cesen protects the hills from the cold winds that come from the north. 1570 meters high, now it welcomes expanses of pastures and huts that come back to life during the summer pasture.<\/p><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><div class=\"next-slide\"><\/div><\/div>[\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row el_class=&#8221;testo-portfolio-colonna&#8221;][vc_column width=&#8221;1\/3&#8243;][vc_column_text]<strong>THE SOIL<\/strong><br \/>\nThe production area of \u200b\u200b<a href=\"www.prosecco.it\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>CONEGLIANO VALDOBBIADENE DOCG<\/strong><\/a> includes the hills of fifteen municipalities and covers an area of \u200b\u200b20,000 hectares.
